Iago Mourinho

Pianist and composer with training in both classical and modern music. He started his jazz studies with Javier Constenla, Carlos Castro, Carlos Calviño, Roberto Somoza and Marcelino Galán, among others.

 

 Also, he attended master classes with Victor Wooten, Andy Philips and Celia Wall.  Nowadays, he is part of projects ineducational classical music and silent cinema with live music (with the group “Cuarteto Ancestral”), in Jazz orFusion (1045, Miguel Lamas Together, Hot Chocolates, Pablo Sanmamed Trio, Corema, “3 azoteas”, Batmacumba, Cold Sweat, Jose Somoza Big Band and Pepe Never), in pop rock groups (like Jane Joyd, Brothers in Band, Slam The Doors) as well as an accompanying pianist in lyrical, modern and traditional genres (with Cesáreo Torres, Carmen Rey, Begoña Lorenzo and Xoán Eiriz)
